a wasted opportunity

Last week I worked out. Too much. And for the past few days, my arms have been in extreme pain. And my elbow joints hardly work! You know the saying, "I don't know my own strength?" Well, that's right. I may picture myself as a big buff dude, but the fact is... I'm not. Aww! I said it!

Anyways, yesterday after church, the youth in our church had our band practice. And usually, I play the djembe (a hand drum) in the band. (I can play other intruments, but that's what I do in the band).

But my arms hurt so much that day, that I didn't play.

sissy.

What a wasted opportunity!

I've got this song on my side-bar, the chorus says:
"Even when my eyes are dry, even when my soul is tired, even when my hands are heavy, I will lift them up to you. 'Cause it's not about how I feel. Oh Lord, I'm here for you."

Shoot! I'm missed it! I could've done what this song is talking about... literally.

So here's the plan: I'm going to throw out my arms Saturday night, and then...

Naww, I'm not that dumb.

Someone plays a hand-drum on church Sunday mornings at our church :) Actually, one of the students has been doing it lately.... ANYWAYS I know what you mean about wasted opportunities! (I know I probally just spelled that wrong). My life is probably a long list of wasted opportunities. I hope (and pray!) that God will totally turn my life around!

By the way, I like your blog.. thanks for actually posting on it (unlike another blog we know of *cough cough*).
