my favorite food, and egg

Hey I'm doing this thing at Hannah's blog... and the theme is... favorite foods!


My favorite food is probably pizza. or pasta. like spaghetti or something. very interesting, I know...

But that's not all I'm going to leave you with, may it never be that I bored you!!

So.. check out my easter egg!

Cool, huh? 

I wonder how an egg could be rebellious? Sounds cool though! Maybe it is a rebel because all the other eggs are just eaten, but my egg is rebelling against the egg culture and tradition because it was painted and won't be eaten? tada!

Well, whatever else it is... it's a reminder for me (and now you).

Ya'll paint any eggs? What did they say? Something traditional or something? like "He is risen"? Aw well, don't feel to bad about it. Next year you can be a rebel too.  haha. 

The cool thing is... that Jesus died on Good Friday, rebelliously. And then He rose three days later, rebelliously. Haha! (i mean, it's not exactly tradition to be raised from the dead, ya know...)

    Rebelling against culture, huh? I like that idea. In fact, I should start a blog that's all about rebelling against the worldly culture around us. I could call it "Counter Cultural". =D =P

    Thanks for your (honest) thoughts. I painted eggs a couple of times when I was little, but I don't think I wrote on them, just artsy designs.

    P.S. Isn't rebel spelled "R-E-B-E-L?" Maybe this egg was rebelling against the forces of grammer as well.... =D

    I looove spaghetti. My dad makes a mean spaghetti sauce, complete with spices, green olives, and sausage.

    Nice spelling on the egg.
    And about my "cookie" post and the Jason dude, him and my older brother were doing the sound for it. It's a pretty big conference; praise and worship, a special speaker...200+ ladies. So yeah. It's quite simple to get into one of these things;)
    I was back with them, helping handle computers. LOL

    p.s.--Favorite food? Psh, that's a hard one. Um...the Sicilian pizza I had today was killer; heaven on an empty stomach. lol
    I like cheese-filled tortellini (google it, dude) if you're getting me on an Italian path. :D

    I guess I'm a bit of a rebel too - I'm not convinced Jesus died on Good Friday (I therefore refer to Wonderful Wednsday [actually its only Easter Sunday for me]:). (Lets see how many responses this gets).

    PiZzAaAaAa!!!! It is delicious, and that's all there is too it. As far as pasta goes...I'll got for spaghetti occasionally, but I actually don't like pasta. I know it's weird, but I don't care. :P I guess I'm being a rebel too. haha. :)
